Pam Tellinghuisen  

 Pam is a fourth generation pipestone carver who has been working her quarry and carving pipestone for over twenty years. 

She learned her art from her mother, Betty Derby-Tellinghuisen. Pam's specialties include traditional pipestone pipes, smudge bowls, letter openers, and carved turtles. She is currently employed by the Pipestone Indian Shrine as a cultural demonstrator and sales clerk. 

Pam is an enrolled member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Dakota Nation.
