Cynthia Crow-Brady

Cynthia is a second generation artist, who proudly carries on the art of pipestone carving. She learned pipestone carving skills from two older sisters, as well as her father and mother, Moses Crow and Estella Crow-Wilson.

Cynthia has been working here for over twenty-five years, and retired from her job as a cultural demonstrator for the Pipestone Indian Shrine Association in 2004. She enjoys making pipestone jewelry and carving turtles, owls, and sometimes other effigies such as dragonflies and frogs.
